About the Role

The Project Manager has the responsibility of the planning, procurement, and execution of a project in residential remodeling projects. The project manager reports to the Director of Operations. Must be a team player, willing to do whatever it takes to take care of the client, no one is too important to pick up a broom.

Work Schedule

  • Regular office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • The daily schedule may extend beyond regular hours depending on the day-to-day workflow.
  • Occasional Saturdays are required as necessary.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Create/edit spreadsheets and utilize other software used to create reports and project management.
  • Managing scheduling of labor and ordering materials.
  • Assist designers in setting accurate budgets for future projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients throughout the execution stage of a project.
  • Ensure all projects are compliant with local code, permitting, insurances, and vetting new employees and/or contractors.
  • Manage a team of contractors and employees.
 

Qualifications:

  • Valid Drivers License in KY
  • Pre-employment testing includes drug testing and background screening.
  • Working knowledge of all scopes of work incorporated into a remodeling project. Including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, framing, flooring, cabinetry, etc.
  • Candidates must have experience in residential remodeling.
  • Must have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. This position requires extensive interaction on the phone and e-mail with our external clients, third-party vendors.
  • Experience interfacing with external clients, including written, telephonic, and face-to-face interactions and project-level communications.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and Smart sheet is required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead a team of technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to perform successfully in a high-pressure, fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Careful attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25/50/80 pounds regularly/occasionally
  • Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
  • Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
  • Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
  • Must be able to work in cold environments and on concrete floors.
  • Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.

Interior Designer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing environments that meet our clients’ aesthetic, functional, and budgetary needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
  2. Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans for residential and commercial projects.
  3. Create detailed drawings, specifications, and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively.
  4. Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories to enhance the overall design.
  5. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
  6. Provide expert advice on color schemes, furniture layouts, and lighting arrangements.
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques.
  8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in residential projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel to client locations and project sites as required.
  • May need to lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires long periods of sitting or standing while working on designs or meeting with clients.
  • May require visual acuity to evaluate and alter design concepts.

Work Environment:

This job generally operates in a professional office environment but can also involve site visits to locations such as residential homes, commercial buildings, and construction sites. These environments may vary significantly, requiring flexibility and adaptability on the part of the designer.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with general hours of work and days being Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, the position often requires long hours and weekend work, particularly when project deadlines are approaching.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, but some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected depending on the project requirements.

HANDYMAN

Reports To
The Handyman will report to the Project Manager

Job Overview
The Handyman will complete manual labor tasks and support operations on job sites. This position requires you to do so while also following proper safety protocols.

Responsibilities and Duties
● Demo areas of worksite
● Repair drywall and paint areas as needed
● Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks
● Handle and transport materials and equipment
● Use power tools when needed to complete trim tasks
● Complete other general tasks as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
● Familiarity with power tools
● Good hand-eye coordination
● Commitment to safety rules and regulations
● Hands-on experience with drywalling, painting, trim carpentry, demolition, etc.
● Ability to stand for long periods of time
● Must be able to light up to 50 pounds as required
