THE ESTATE RENOVATIONS FAMILY
Born into a family legacy of exceptional craftsmanship, our founder JM Haddix embarked on his journey in the craft of cabinet building at his father’s cabinet shop. This formative experience not only laid a strong foundation for his future career but also ignited a deep passion for the trade. The intricacies of woodwork, the aesthetic mastery, and the satisfaction of a job well done were lessons that went beyond mere skill – they were invaluable life teachings that would shape his future endeavors.
After gaining this foundational knowledge, JM moved on to work for big box stores. Here, he not only honed his craft but also gained an understanding of large-scale retail operations. However, over time, he found the impersonal nature and quality constraints of big box stores limiting. He yearned for the freedom to offer his clients more – personalized services, attention to detail, and top-tier quality. The drive to deliver exceptional services led him to make a strategic decision in 2016 – the establishment of his own company, Estate Renovations.
Estate Renovations embodied JM’s vision – a place where craftsmanship and customer service would coalesce to create an unparalleled experience. And the journey towards this goal was further solidified with the joining of his brother, Jonathan Haddix, in 2019. With an entrepreneurial mindset honed in the manufacturing industry, Jonathan brought business and logistical expertise necessary to navigate the demands of a growing company.
The brothers, operating in harmony, soon realized they could offer even more value to their clients. Noticing a gap in the market for a comprehensive remodeling solution, they expanded Estate Renovations to include a full-service design-build offering, providing an all-encompassing service from initial design through to final installation.
Their business philosophy, too, was shaped by their journey. Believing in a fair trade that benefits all – employees, contractors, and clients alike – they ensured their approach was both sustainable and equitable. It is this harmonious, beneficial trade relationship that forms the bedrock of Estate Renovations’ operations.
In the years since its inception, Estate Renovations has gone from strength to strength, demonstrating that it’s possible to marry business success with high craftsmanship standards and strong ethical principles.
